The Turning Point

24 Sept 2006

Greetings All

Thank you for the holiday wishes and the welcome back mails and visits. It's nice to be back in India here in my office with a cup of tea surrounded by my favourite things.

Years ago when I was struggling with certain issues a spiritual friend who's now passed, said to me gently,"Mita, we're never given more than we can handle"  Maybe it was the way he said it or maybe it was the words themselves, this simple has phrase helped me every single time I find myself worn out by Life. And every single time I learn that all of us on this planet are a whole lot stronger than we think.

These past few weeks have been testing for many of us on the planet. Astrologers say it's got to do with Saturnian influences forcing us to relook and release. And the Tarot card of Strength talks to me about endurance and fortitude -  as an answer to why so many hearts are aching all over this world.

Core issues may have to deal with coping with loss and learning to change internally. It may be the loss of a loved one. A job. Or even control.  Or you may find yourself re-examining painful  relationships from the past which seemed to have suddenly resurfaced bringing with the the nip of memories you would rather not relive.

As with all major periods on this planet, many of us will react and respond to the painful changes in different ways. But suffering seems to follow a universal pattern. It gradually builds up till it becomes unbearable. At the point where it peaks, it suddenly subsides.  Examining this point from a deeper perspective, this is this place where true individual growth takes place, where peace walks in staring deep into your eyes smiling. And leads you by the hand into the Turning Point.

Suddenly you realise you are no longer who you were. The Turning Point has shown you that you have no choice but to accept, understand, let go, surrender, come to terms with, forgive, move on, grow up, give up and rise above. You've survived. Because you were meant to. Don't forget, we're never given more than we can handle.

If you've had any inspiring or interesting experiences with the Turning Point you'd love to share, do let me know.

On to other things

Book of the Month

If I haven’t already waggled a copy of Trutz Hardo's "The Karma Handbook" in front of you during a reading, you may just enjoy reading a slightly different take on Past Life Regression.  'Through numerous fascinating case histories, this book captures the relationship between karma, disease and healing." If you're interested check it out!

Psychometry

Did you know a lot of your energies linger around your ring, watch or key? And with concentration and meditation, it's possible to read a lot about you by simply holding and focussing on your object. These readings are brief, to the point and dont last more than a few minutes but sometimes reveal some startling insights which the cards may have overlooked. The next time you're over for a session remind me to demonstrate:):)

Quote - It's easy to be wise after the event" - old English proverb

Until next time
